Friendly owner arranged purchase of waterproofs, offered translations, and pointed out useful spots in the area. Charming host, comfortable room, and hot shower on arrival. Private entrance to quiet yard for washing and drying clothes. Helpful owner during our stay on the Camino Portugese.

The rooms had private entrances. Enjoyed the silence in the large yard. Helpful owner and staff. Warm reception, offered drink. Waterproof shopping assistance.

The hotel staff was helpful and were great too ensure I had a great stay. They even accompanied me to a shop to help me buy waterproofs during a rainy period on my Camino de Santiago hike. The room was comfortable, and the shower had piping hot water.
